HI! We’re Mathilde & Clément

We met in high school and have been traveling together ever since. W’re a Portuguese-French and French-Mexican couple who share a love for discovering new places. We love getting to know the people, food and culture that make every destination unique. We created WORTHWHILE because we couldn’t find the kind of travel guides we were looking for. Most travel content tells you what to do. We wanted to know what was actually worth doing.

We don’t travel full time. We’re just a normal couple with full-time jobs, limited annual leave and a budget like everyone else. That means every trip matters.
When we travel, we want to make the most of every day – not by rushing from one attraction to the next, but by choosing experiences that help us understand a place, its people and its culture.

Why “Worthwhile”?
We believe traveling isn’t about seeing as many places as possible. It’s about coming home with stories you’ll still bi telling years later. Sometimes that means spending more on an unforgettable experience. Sometimes it means skipping an attraction that isn’t really worth it. “Is it actually worthwhile?” – That’s the question behind every guide we write.

Every itinerary, recommendation and budget on this website is based on our own travels. We share honest itineraries, real budgets, places we’d genuinely return to and experiences we’d recommend to our closest friends. If something isn’t worth your time or money, we’ll tell you.
